Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa

The Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) is the largest and oldest association of independent schools (private schools) in the region. Members are drawn from South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique and Swaziland.

ISASA schools provide quality, value-based education to over 140,000 pupils. ISASA delivers fifty professional services to its 623 diverse school members.

The Ridge School is a full member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa.

Salvazione Christian School
Our community partnership school, serving the informal settlement of Slovo Park, has now moved into their own property in the Brixton area. We are thrilled for them.

Small School with Smaller Classes!
We now offer 3 classes per grade of 20 boys in each class from Grade 0 right through to Grade 7. The size of the School remains around 480 so that all boys may be known and grown.

90th Anniversary
Founded in 1919, The Ridge School turned 90 in 2009. We would like to establish links with our Old Boys. We would, therefore, like all Old Boys to register their details with us. You can do so by contacting us on +2711 481 5802.
